Yes. I do love Windows XP Pro. I use it a lot. And I like it.
It's not a good thing, I know -- particularly in the wake of Jaguar. Yet this is the most Mac-like experience I've ever had on a PC. Everything I loved about the Mac seems to have arrived in XP Pro -- the ease of networking, the stability, and now even the Style XP.
Prior to XP Pro, only my Mac could bring me that delight of just stepping back from my work and looking at the interface, reveling in it. Beautiful!
I blame Starband frankly. Had they only written Mac drivers for their modems, I'd have never even purchased a PC. I'd have never grown frustrated with the instability of the Win32 layer of 98SE. I'd have never upgraded to XP Pro. I'd have never let my eyes stray. I'd have never fallen so fast for Windows XP...
