The Pete Towshend/Child Porn Crisis: Does he get the benefit of the doubt? Many of us hope that he is innocent. These are very serious charges. In my non-professional opinion, his body of work over the past 35 years suggests he was sexually abused as a child. He did admit to entering a credit card to investigate what was there. Villages here grew into small towns, and these in turn grew and expanded into one large town. Today with the disappearance of the mines and the furnaces, this region is again going through a change. Because of this, only in a very few places you can see the origins of the towns development on the landscape.
