The 'Maglev'. Now appearing in Shanghai!
Too bad the US wasn't first on this one. Hopefully, we'll have one soon. In order for them to be cost efficient, they need to cover some distance, like hooking Phoenix to LA to SF and other West Coast cities. Perhaps the proposed DC Maglev will connect cities on the East Coast.
I've been waiting for maglevs for a long time... Air travel uses a great deal of energy.
