A new edition of the Low
Budget Short Film Workshop in Cairo;
Once again, the Low Budget
Workshop is going to take place in the Egyptian capital, with the novelty this
time that it will not be only about documentaries, but also about low budget
fiction short films.
This workshop, organized by
the Madrilenian Production Company Dayra Arts, has been organized four times
before in Madrid , once in Cairo and other one in Amman .
The workshop is composed
by three blocs: Direction and Production, by Basel Ramsis; Photography and
Lighting, by Almudena Sánchez and Editing by Antonio
Gómez-Escalonilla.
It will take place between the
12th and the 23rd of November, and is addressing to young
Egyptians with Cinematographic knowledge.
The workshop is organized and
financed by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, the Spanish
Embassy in Egypt , and with the collaboration of
Semat-Cairo and Dayra Arts.

Una nueva edición
del Taller de Cortometraje de Bajo Presupuesto en El
Cairo;
Un año más, el Taller
de Bajo Presupuesto va a tener lugar en la capital egipcia, aunque la novedad
esta vez es que no tratará sólo de documentales, sino también de cortometraje de
ficción de bajo presupuesto. Este taller, organizado
por la productora madrileña Dayra Arts, se ha realizado cuatro veces en Madrid,
una en El Cairo y otra en Ammán.
El taller estará
compuesto por 3 bloques principales: Tratamiento, Dirección y Producción, a
cargo de Basel Ramsis; Fotografía e Iluminación, a cargo de Almudena Sánchez; y Montaje, a cargo de Antonio
Gómez-Escalonilla.
Tendrá lugar entre el
12 y el 23 de noviembre de 2006, y está dirigido a jóvenes egipcios con
conocimientos cinematográficos.
El Taller está
organizado y financiado por la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional, la
Embajada de España en Egipto, y cuenta con la colaboración de Semat - Cairo y la
productora Dayra Arts.
