More progress this morning, both physically and in the cyber world.  Ran 4 miles, still slow after 2 weeks off but felt stronger than on Wednesday.  Softball today, consisting of a double header, very excited about that because I haven't played in almost a month.  Then on the website, wrapped up some of the stuff from last night and have designed the page for the player picks. 

My synapses are definitely firing today and I feel more motivated than I have in quite some time.  Not sure the cause of that but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.  I'm starting to get my head around ASP.Net more and more with each day that I write code.  Still feel very behind but getting there. 

The pool is a huge project and it overwhelms me some days.  I think that might have something to do with the lack of motivation over the last couple of weeks.  But, I've learned to tell myself "look at one little piece and just work on that."  That's a huge jump in thought process in software development I think.  I'm still just a junior programmer but I think that's helping me get farther along.  You still have to look at the big picture but you can't code looking at the big picture.  You have to take a task and work on that, then meld it into everything else you're working on.

I do feel like I'm writing pretty junior code that could be done better but I suppose that will be in release 2.  Preseason is only 3 weeks away, so I've got to get cracking.
