Went to the eye doc today, concerned with my left eye doing bad weird things.  It hasn't been flashing lately but lots of floaters and lots of blurriness.  She says it doesn't look bad, going to dialate next Monday just to make sure but that if I get the flashy things again, I should go straight to the emergency room.  Wow that sucks, since I used to get those and ignore them.  I'm sure they'll come back.  What happens is that the retina tears and then the floaters are caused by pigment roaming around back there.  When the flashy things happen, fluid is accumulating in the layers of the retina, sometimes causing them to detach which is bad.

My dad had a detached retina and I'm pretty sure I'm on track to have one in my left eye at this rate.  What fun. 

Much work today working on Western United, a new customer we're putting up this week.  As usual, reqs gathering was woefully inadequate and thus, this whole project has been a massive pain in my ass for the last three days.  Blah.  I need to spend time to figure out what we do wrong in the requirements gathering stages of new customer implementations.  This is getting old. . .
