Which brings up the question of can an expansion team be any good at all in their first couple of years? I think that they can in football where money is rampant and free-agency rules the landscape. I would have to say that baseball is the opposite of football, Tampa Bay Devil Rays I rest my case.

However, the Texans could do ok if they don't rush Carr along into a role that he's not ready for. We'll see as things progress.

I've often wondered what happens when art gets stolen.  I'm sure there's a black market for these kinds of things but a high profile piece like a Goya has to be difficult to fence, not to mention a total of 17 pieces.  Kudos to the FBI, who lately have had much trouble instilling confidence in those that matter.  I wouldn't have thought that they would be working this case. 

I remember when this went down, thinking to myself what it would be like to own a masterpiece.  I would like to collect art but masterpieces cost way more than my measly offerings and I don't know one thing about what makes a current piece turn into the masterpiece of the future.
