Bad news if you're thinking about becoming a teacher in DISD. . .or if you have a kid in the DISD system. . .

There's a recall effort underway here in Dallas to recall our mayor. . .the effort, if you can call it that, is focused largely in the black community, trying to play the race card in the firing of police chief Bolton. . .the problem is, he wasn't fired because he was black, he was fired because he was terrible at his job. . .

Bolton recently signed a letter with the following text in it:

    "You can help make sure Laura Miller is removed from office," the letter reads. "If we don't do anything, then Laura Miller will remain in office for another term, and the injustice for the citizens and employees of Dallas will continue."

The problem with that is that Miller was re-elected in a landslide and is a rather popular mayor right now and not too many people are that interested in making sure Miller is removed for office for the perceived injustices Bolton seems to be crying about. . .
