Stocks, Reading, Throwing Out

Stocks: My two "dogs" oops, Clem took exception to my calling my under performing stocks "dogs". My two "sicklies" are still racing toward recovery. M is ahead of T by 1.68 percent.

Reading: I've spent the last couple days reading Shanghai Diary: the story of a survivor by Ursula Bacon.

Fear is a terrible thing. It robs you of your own power, it weakens your beliefs that good things can happen, and it feeds the evil in your enemies. Never, never act from fear. You'll lose every time.

It's being made into a movie.

Throwing Out: I spent Thanksgiving weekend saying good bye/good riddance to a number of trash bags of teaching stuff, etc. that came out of the storage room downstairs. Cleaning that area has been on my "To Do" list for two years. Success! I spiffed up three smaller areas while I was in my "dirties". Also, the Christmas decorations are out of their storage area and are slowly making their way upstairs.
