You are invited to the Dec. 6 SIRLS Colloquium co-sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (AZ ASIST) and the Library, University of Arizona. Our featured speaker is Cultural Studies Historian, Dr. Siva Vaidhyanathan, who will discuss an important aspect of our nation's Intellectual Property Law. His new book, forthcoming in 2003, is titled The Anarchist in the Library: How Peer-to-Peer Networks are Transforming Politics, Culture, and the Control of Information.
