In search of a new moral DNA
Comment on the recent conviction of Winnie Mandela on fraud and theft charges. A sad comment reflecting the sadness I also feel at the downfall of an icon, but also sadness that a liberation struggle which promised so much, has been tainted by so much corruption. South Africa needs to take heed of the author's call for a new moral standard, and his warning:
The conviction of Tony Yengeni and Madikizela-Mandela prove to us that the post-liberation struggle is the more difficult one and one in which the foe is not easily identifiable.
