Reviewing the Eight Imperatives for Networked World Leaders

Utah's CIO just returned from a seminar at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government for new government CIOs.  He encouraged the ACIO council to read Eight Imperatives for Leaders in a Networked World .  I reviewed the document back in July.  Product managers may want to review it prior to the March meeting.

I was excited to learn of Ken Elliott's interest in XML and a little about DEQ's project to enable data on hazardous waste incidents, wells, environmental facilities, etc. in a project that involves the CDC.  Kent is the ACIO for the Department of Environmental Quality.  I have invited Ken and others to an XML working group meeting this Thursday.
