How I Took Photos on an Everest Trek, from WHAS11. Interesting story of someone who took a couple Canon 1D digital SLRs, but ended up saying "To anyone going on a trek, I would recommend taking a nondigital single lens reflex camera and shooting film."

Most people do not have porters available to carry the generators and batteries needed for this guy's extended digital SLR operation in the backcountry. And most protected wilderness lands do not allow generators anyway.

Purpose
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
