New iPod Photo Camera Connector: "While Apple's new iPod Photo models themselves aren't terribly exciting, there is one thing about them that I thought was worth mentioning. And that is the iPod Camera Connector cable, which will ship in March for about $30. This lets you connect your digital camera directly to the iPod photo, where you can transfer pictures without using your computer as a middleman. Photos can then be transferred to iPhoto or 'various photo applications on the PC' at your leisure. No word on whether this cable works on the first generation iPod Photos. The new iPod Photo models come in 30GB and 60GB and are priced at $349 and $449 respectively."

Mass High Tech: "Engineering’s highest honor — the Charles Stark Draper Prize — has been awarded to the team that developed spy satellite technology during the Cold War, including a Quincy man who made key discoveries in panoramic photography. "

However the article does not spell out what the key discoveries in panoramic photography were. Maybe they're still top secret?
