Good News and Bad News

Well the good news is that Democrat Mark Fernald lost the election for NH Governor. This means nobody in the top office pushing for an income tax.

The bad news is that his Republican opponent, Craig Benson, has won the election. Let's hope that he can manage to get along with the rest of the people that run the state. Hey Craig, remember: you can't just run around firing people arbitrarily anymore.

I voted for the other guy.

The Other Guy

C and I had a conversation over the weekend about who we thought were the better candidates. Neither of us liked any of them. I suggested that when the time came to fill in the little boxes, she choose the guy she hadn't heard of. (Libertarians were on the ballot for all the major races.)

When she got home tonight I asked who she voted for.

"Like you said. All the guys I'd never heard of."
