I think I've found a few interesting topics on which to write. It has been hard to decide exactly what to say in this newfound space, where the possibilities are really endless. I remember hearing the expression "Form is liberating" (I thought it was Chinese, but am not sure; perhaps it just sounds as such); I think it took several years before I understood what this meant.
So I think I'm going to write about two topics in this space: New York Dining, and my preparation to go to business school next year.
I love eating. I really love eating in restaurants. Since I live in Manhattan, I'm lucky to be surrounded by restaurants catering to every conceivable desire. From the cheapest roadside ethnic vendor to the most costly, decadent midtown extravaganza, I love the whole experience of going to restaurants with friends. I always wished that someone wrote reviews that made sense to me, but since I never found one, it seems to make sense that I would write my own.
The business school preparation is the other topic that I'll discuss here. After almost one year of application process hell, I finally got into Insead. I'll write about what I'm doing to get ready to go back to school in January. Books to read, languages to study, apartments to lease and sublet. It should be fun.
