It is almost taken for granted these days, but I still am a bit awestruck going to dinner parties with friends. Yesterday I looked around the table, and here is what I saw: four Germans, one Norwegian, one Israeli, two Indians, one Greek, one Brit, one Dane, one American, and one Bulgarian. I heard conversations in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Hindi. Everyone is very nonchalant about this special environment, this special place; I hope that my future will have diversity but I imagine that it will never match what we have in this quaint Paris suburb. Each student has incredible stories to tell, and I hope to hear as many as possible before returning to the real world.
