Reading Material
Thanks to Paul for the tip on a good article named How to Get Bad News to the Top.
I'm waiting for delivery of yet another book (I seem to buy more than I read), The Inmates Are Running the Asylum: Why High Tech Products Drive Us Crazy and How To Restore The Sanity by Alan Cooper (avail. from Amazon, natch). Read from the Amazon review by Jennifer Buckendorff:
... The central questions Cooper asks are too important to ignore: Are we making users happier? Are we improving the process by which they get work done? Are we making their work hours more effective? ... He asserts that the goal of computer usage should be "not to make anyone feel stupid."
Sounds interesting to me.
