Geobloggers combines Flickr
tags following an ad-hoc standard and Google Maps to enable
public, collaborative geophotoblogging.
Coolness.
As an example, look at pictures taken in the vicinity of square St-Louis
in Montreal. Click the yellow lightbulbs to get the details. Right now I see only two listed in the sidebar, one of
which is mine, but I suppose it will grow denser soon. I hope Karl gets around to geotagging his Flickr pics! Meanwhile, here are a few of mine that I just geotagged.
The easiest way I found of getting latitudes and longitudes was this:
first find the place with Google maps, then click "Link to this page"
and retrieve the numbers in the resulting URL. (This will all get very much easier - and crowded - when we all have GPS-capable cameras.)
