A follow up to my post yesterday about DC Comics always being set in fictional cities. It turns out that was a false assumption on my part. There were some DC Comics even as far back as the 1940's that were indeed set in real cities. And I assumed that every Marvel comic (with only one major exception) has been set in a real city. Again, my bad. Seems Fantastic Four #1 was set in a fictional city.
I'm posting this in the interests of stamping out ignorance where I can!
