I'm home here on a Sunday afternoon. It's quite nice actually. I was never really much of a fan of utter laziness, but I now marvel in it. Laziness was made for working folks. Jason and I went to the Henry Fonda theater and saw Sleater Kinney. I was very suprized with the show. It was great! Lots of energy, cool music, and I even saw someone I knew from my old high school; Danny Brown. He was there with his girlfriend. I must say though, I was so tired. I've had a very long week. By the end of the night I wanted to die. I fell asleep on the way home. Next week is Supergrass on Friday, grandpa's memorial on Saturday, Rilo Kiley on Sunday. Wowza. I'm going to be a walking zombie.

I've been quite bored today. I watched some of the Osbournes TV show. They are so lame. Really. The whole show is an act and a half. I love their dogs. Lola in particular. Who wouldn't want to have a big English bulldog sleep with them in bed at night? She's adorable, aside from the commando shits she takes inside the house. Their kids are complete brats. I don't like that part at all. If it was a show just about Sharon and Ozzy, I'd be capable of watching it. Kelly is a tubbo 18 year old with really nasty clothes. Jack is a chauvinist and a half. Why am I even watching television? No, must not watch the evil boob tube.

I should be cleaning my room or doing some laundry, or just something productive. I've been downloading music by the Walkmen today. I saw them along with Hot Hot Heat last week. You've heard them if you've seen the Saturn Ion commercial. These guys are great. My brother's been using my computer lately. We put new furnature in his room and his computer doesn't fit back where it was. So, we're waiting to buy a laptop for him. Here's the pisser. My dad's getting him an Apple. Not just any Apple; the 17'' Powerbook. WTF?!?!?! That's what I've wanted for...a long time. An Apple Powerbook. Jesus God.

Me: Cam's really got to stop using my computer. I have too much on here for him to be messing with.
Dad: Well, we're getting him an Apple soon. I'd really like to make a complete switch to Apple. Just keep one Windows machine around.
Me: *ack gasp ugh* Hello? Excuse me? Who's the one who's been expressing interest in this for, oh, 6 months now?
Dad: Well, maybe we'll all get one. I need to start editing my own band videos.
Me: You do realize how expensive those Powerbooks are, right?
Dad: Yah.

I'm supposed to "share" the Powerbook with my bro. Haha um yah. He can use this monster in my room and I'll be taking the Powerbook everywhere I go. If that doesn't work out, I'm getting my own for my birthday. Don't bother getting me anything, just get me gift certificates to the Apple store, which for the life of me, can't find the link for. I get the wonderful higher education discount too. w00t for me!
