The show was so awesome. Rufus played new and old songs. He was so flaming homosexual it was hilarious. We all know he's gay, but tonight was just a laugh riot. I was sitting in some really good seats, and I guess it wasn't the right spot, and my real seats were up front, 3 rows from the stage. I was so close I could see the muscles in his back, the arm on his hair, the stubble on his face. He cut all of his hair off, shaved his chops, and now looks like a gay Kevin Bacon less 50 lbs. It worked for him. While I was there, I made new friends, Lesley and Daniel. I noticed Lesley's British accent and I had to say something. Daniel was so flipping handsome I could barely control myself, but I think he was gay, cause he was there to see Rufus, not Aimee :P All in fun. I got their numbers and email addresses and hopefully we can hang out soon.

It's late and I need to catch up on some sleep.

I get to see my boi Rufus Wainwright tonight! I'm rather excited! Aimee Mann is playing as well, but I don't think I'll stay for her. I might stay if her hubby Michael Penn plays with her, but even then I probably won't stay. I am tired and don't want to be out too late. He'll probably go on about 8:30 or so, if there isn't an opener, which I'm very much hoping for. I'm in the process of writing my resignation letter at this second. I want it done before I leave tonight so I'm not scrambling in the morning. I'm so freaking happy I can't really believe I won't ever have to get up at 5:15 am to go to work. I don't even have to wake up that early for 8 am class! I will find some small part time job and I will be the happiest I've been for over a year.
