Interlibrary Loan Statistics in Illinois:
According to the Illinois State Library, the "deadline for submitting the ILLINET Interlibrary Loan Traffic Form (covering fiscal year 2002) is Thursday, October 31st. A copy of the form is attached, and you can also find the form on the Illinois State Library Web site, under "Statewide/ILLINET/Interlibrary Loan Code/Statewide ILLINET ILL Traffic Form." Forms should be submitted to the Learning Resource Center at UIUC as indicated on the bottom of page two of the form." The state is hoping for 100% participation this year. The statistics will be used by the Illinois State Library in order to plan for the future.
Please return your form even if you don't do interlibrary loan. Don't worry about being late or having incomplete statistics. They'll work with whatever you can give them.
Libraries, Hospitals, and Park Districts can apply for grant assistance in order to build and provide Community Technology Centers from Illinois Department of Commerce & Community Affairs under their Eliminate the Digital Divide program. (Thanks Lori for the tip.)

Library Science Students Study Blogging:
So far this week a couple of library students (independent of each other) have contacted CLS to ask questions about blogging for papers on which they are working.
