I finally namaged to finish the installation of Gentoo Linux on my UltraSparc 10. I was a long saga!
Now I want to use the power of my cluster to help the Sun box compile software. I already use distcc on my cluster to spread the compilation load on my 7 boxes. The "problem" with the Sun is the CPU. It is an UltraSparc IIi, not an x86. I need a cross compiler for that. I found a great script and instructions on how to set it up but I am a bit reluctant to use it. I don't want to ruin my current toolchain. I'll probably work on this on Sunday after-noon as my wife will be gone on business trip: no witness if I scream and shout at the boxes...

I hope Canada won't fall in the same tar pit as the one the MPAA is pushing the USA. Fair use include the right to record a program for one-self. And it doesn't say if it is at low or high resolution.
