How to survive the increasing stress at work? -- Comment()
Competition in the workplace and at home stresses IT experts. You have to consume to appear successful, and to consume you need to earn more and more, and thus work more and more. Is there no way out - except cardiac arrest, alcoholism, or severe depression? Work-related stress has been a popular topic for discussion in Finland this autumn. I have been observing the stress in my friends (and myself) for some time, and thus I wrote a net column to clarify my thinking (in Finnish, Hyperkilpailu korventaa it-asiantuntijoita). Fortunately I don't personally have to deal with as much stress as many of my friends who have to deal with severe global (hyper)competition daily.
