Europe uniting against Schmidt's Google print project: "Google announced a library-indexing project last year, but the search giant's Borgesian aspirations seem to have got a few backs up in Europe, which is rallying to an alternative. Yesterday I got a copy of Tiger, which I'm now trying out. The installation was flawless, except that the system had to ask a question about my non-Mac keyboard.

After that, no trouble so far. The system responds fast.

I have tried out Safari RSS, which is not too bad, but I'll probably not use it much. I tried out Dashboard, and it found easily Finnish versions of wearther and time. Dictionary looks to be promising Dashboard tool. I haven't yet tried out Spotlight. It seems that Tiger is currently indexing the hard drive.
