Test drive of Tiger - no problems -- Comment() My test drive of Tiger (aka Mac OS X 10.4) is over. I used Tiger for two weeks on a Mac mini. No problems, the machine was up and running continuously since installation of Tiger on top of Mac OS X 10.3. Safari had one crash, Mail also, but these were the only problems I had with Tiger. No information was lost in the crashes. I'll upgrade my PowerBook G4 with Tiger when Cisco VPN is compatible. And it is always worthwhile to wait for the first update. When Mac OS X 10.4.1 is available, then may be the time to start using Tiger.

-- Comment() A Gamer's Look At The New iMac G5: "I'm really happy to see Apple finally get it right with the updated iMac G5, introduced on Tuesday. Hands down, this is the best iMac Apple's ever come up with when it comes to games." [MyAppleMenu]

-- Comment() Apple's Tiger Will Rule Non-Tech Innovator Jungle For More Than A Year: "Most techs agree that Apple's TIger is better than current Windows OS versions and possibly better than the omni-absent Longhorn OS. In the past, it was hard for Apple to transform technical superiority into sales. This time, things are different." [MyAppleMenu]

Is there a need for iPod? -- Comment() My column on "Who needs in iPod, really?" appeared last week (in Finnish, Kuka oikeasti tarvitsee iPodia?). I have received a lot of feedback, most of it critical. Apple products really get people emotionally involved.
