Today we have excellent weather in Helsinki for commuting by bicycle. I read a column in a magazine where the writer said that he would never use any other vehicle than his car for commuting. But I find that when I commute by bicycle (or walk), I'm much more alert (and perhaps ever wiser) than on those days when I use some other transportation.

Acting on climate change -- Comment()
The climate towards climate change had changed. Now we are seeking solutions, previously we were talking about whether the thing exists. But are the proposed solutions real solutions, or just cosmetigs. For example, BBC reports that Climate change 'can be tackled': "Experts at a UN climate change summit agree that emissions can be limited with small impacts on economies." Faster, higher, more IT -- Comment()
Does information technology help us achieve more - or does it actually make as perform worse? New 3G mobile phones and cars with IT are advertised a lot, but do any of the new features actually help us to achieve our objectives?
