Yesterday I started reading "Black Swan Green" by David Mitchell, a novel spanning a year in a 13-years old boy's life in England in 1982. Mitchell is a great writer, and although this book is naive on the surface, there are deep and disturbing things beneath. I have another book by Mitchell waiting to be read - Ghostwritten - but somehow I never got started with that one.
