I'm with Norman on this one, Codetek Virtual Desktop 3 and Expose are a really awesome combination. Every OS X Panther user should rush out and try this. I love it!
Basically this provides really nice expose integration with virtual desktops; when you've got heaps
of windows open, just expose a virtual desktop at a time (either every
app on the desktop or all windows for 1 app). I've always got 10
desktops on the go at once (a few end up being spare which are handy
for the odd task from time to time), I tend to have a desktop with
silly amounts of emails open, another desktop with my news reader &
quite a few browsers open (with tabs) and other desktops with eclipse,
numerous iterms and xchatqau along with various other bits and bobs (to
do lists, calendars etc). This new change (along with 'apple-key' +
tab) makes it so easy to switch around from window to window and app to
app. Its a real joy to use.
CVD was the first bit of software I bought for OS X and it looks like
I'll be pleased to be buying the upgrade to 3 (though it is a shame
I've gotta pay again :).
BTW I've just turned on the autohide pager option on the Pager tab today and am quite enjoying it.
Update: I just spotted this new feature in version 3 today;
click on an icon in the dock or when apple+tab and it autoswitches the
virtual desktop too. Neat!
