Check out this article from news.com. Bonzi, a company that has been using intentionally deceptive web advertising (you know, like those banner ads made to look like a Win9X alert box saying "CLICK HERE TO AVOID IMMINENT CRASH" or some such), has settled a class action suit by agreeing to stop doing that sort of horrible stuff. It doesn't sound like they got slapped too badly (would have been nice to get some damages paid to the plaintiffs too for lost time and annoyance), but this is, I think, a good sign.
