64-bit Groove grooves up ?

The New York Times article today (09/29/02) - Intel's Huge Bet Turns Iffy gives the current market state of the 64-bit Itanium processor. Its slow market acceptance may deal a severe blow to H-P (Intel's partner in this product). A potential customer, Google rejects it - as its needs are for low power consumption which the Itanium does not display.

A 64-bit Groove Enterprise Integration Server  could do wonders well - all those Server Bots feeding the myriads of Groove Telespaces in the Enterprise at one end and *ETL the back-end legacy systems.
