Austin city Limits Music Festival Recap...We spent Saturday and most of Sunday at the ACL Music Festival. They were calling it the first annual of the same. If they hadn't solved some of the problems that we experienced on Saturday, there may not be another. But the long line problems were solved and it was great.
We saw Wilco, Jayhawks, Los Lobos, String Cheese Incident, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly, Ryan Adams, Beto y Los Fairlanes, Abra Moore, and Ruthie Foster, Eric Johnson, and others. Oh, and 40,000 other music lovers.
One of the highlights of the festival for us was seeing and hearing Ruthie Foster perform songs from her new album Runaway Soul. Catch her act wherever you can. She raised the roof right along with our spirits. The lady is one awesome singer!
