Newest music on the CD player and the powerbook G4 this week include the new album from Beck, Sea Change, the new release Ends of the Earth from previously unknown English artist Peter Bruntnell, the new CD from Ryan Adams, Demolition, and the first release from Tift Merritt, called Bramble Rose.

Beck sounds like Nick Drake updated and blue. Great piece of work.
Adams breaks new ground with castoffs from the album Gold. Good listening.
Bruntnell was the surprise of the group. Combine Tom Petty with Americana - he rocks!
Merritt has EmmyLou Harris and Sheryl Crow influences and probably writes songs better than both of them. Seriously...
