A discussion with Congressman Walter Jones of NC

It's not quite as exciting as being slipped a video from al Qaeda but some of my compatriots in Rocky Mount sent me their latest effort.

Here are a couple of excerpts from their 40 minute interview with Congressman Walter Jones on Rocky Mount's hottest political news and analysis show, America in Danger.

On the Constitution and CAFTA

On giving parents oversight in government schools (Ok, so 6 and 7 year olds are not babies, but as a parent I would think discussions of sexual orientation could wait until middle school.)

My reaction: NC's Mr. Smith in Washinton

If you are intrigued by the concept of local citizens actually calling their Congressmen in to talk to them, put Saturday April 8th on your calendar. That looks to be the date that there will be a grassroots organized forum in Rocky Mount with 3 or more demopublican Congressmen fielding questions on federal trade and immigration policy.
