Arrest an alien, earn a buck.

Just learned that there is a federal program that has been around for six years that rebates to state, county and city jails part of the cost of incarcerating illegal aliens who have been charged with two misdemeanors or one felony. I love the truth in advertising rated name: SCAAP - State Criminal Alien Assistance Program. (If you're the small government type that rewords in proper English to, "Criminals of the State handing out money to assist aliens.")

Last year over $300 million federal tax dollars of rebates were awarded. Participating in this program for the first time, the Guilford County Sheriffs department will shortly be able to draw on the $107,000 they have been awarded.
