Memorial Day 2006 (back from a vacation) The US has some 50,000 federal troops in Japan almost 61 years after unconditional surrender. There are even more south of the Mason Dixon line. Don't bet on the 150,000 troops in Iraq being drawn down anytime soon if our current demopublican regime stays in power. Empires just don't work that way. 10:53:36 PM
