Dear reader,
I sincerely apologize for the state of my web log. Thanks go to SBC (who BTW is moving his .NET weblog from Radio) who notified me that some of the links on my weblog have gone bad.
You see, Radio did this to me after I’ve installed an internal weblog. I've changed upstream location temporarely to test the new server. Turns out, changing upstream location leads to terrible consequences in DaveLand software. Radio started pumping intranet URLs to my public weblog. I've found a hack to fix this, but not without long-term consequences. Some of the entries on my weblog still have intranet-based URLs. I just hope that newer items will be OK.
I sooo want to move from Radio, but the thought of changing weblog URL again makes me uncomfortable.
I had a dream once where Dave Winer offered a service that let's people keep their Radio weblog URLs, but use entirely different weblogging software. In my dream, Dave has started to care about his paying users more and pay attention to the products his company sells. Realizing cometitive reality of weblogging software he even released a new version of Radio. Then I woke up.
