Message to RIAA: I bought a non-crippled CD last week, my CD-Player isn't broken (it spat out the last ten CDs I bought) it runs like a charm, it's your product that's broken!

On a lighter note: if you didn't catch 'Zoolander', do it! Don't ask questions do it, it's great. Should be available to rent or buy worldwide by now (If you're not sure rent it first, though).

TCP tuning tip: watch the ratio between 'datapackets out' and 'datapackets retransmitted', if the ratio is going up there is usually trouble on the network. This is something you should monitor if you're responsible for a network or just nosy ;-)

I've been to Vienna a couple of days ago and found that Starbucks opened a couple of outlets there. Austria, Italy and to some extent France are the only countries in Europe where a decent cup of java isn't hard to get. They should go after Germany, they need help, really. I was always under the impression they're doing kind of Peace-Corps development projects, in that case they're trying to sell fridges to Inuit.

slashdot: It seems that the RIAA-girl tried to convince people again, see
this link for details[slashdot.org]
On a site note: I didn't buy two more CDs because they were either enhanced (from a RIAA point of view) or had a 'Copy Protected' (means this CD is corrupt) sticker on it. There goes the revenue ;-)
