Do yourself a favor and hop over to an article titled Weblog link borrowing/pilfering dispute at the Literary Saloon. My take on the subject: If someone doesn't want to be linked to, he/she should start a subscription service and leave the rest of the blogging world alone. Regarding the 'Amazon' links, yessssssssssss. ;-) 1:06:17 PM |

daypop is online again. Must have been the backup or my ISP's DNS was screwing up again. 12:02:23 PM |

From the stupid one-liners department: If you need to figure out the size of files in a directory including directories, you can try this: du -sk * | sort -n | awk '{print "MB:",$1/1024,"KB:", $0}'This should work on almost every flavor of *NIX. It's not pretty, but hey, we're talking one-liners here, especially ones that work more or less independent of age of the *NIX system. 10:15:46 AM |

The, IMHO, only reliable news source in the world, BBC, released a report that play.com caved and settled out of court with the monopolists. No more CDs without the blessings of the DRM crapsters, too bad. 9:30:19 AM |
