You gotta love the folks at InfoWorld, it takes reading two thirds of the article before they admit that only their favorite virus-breeding ground is affected and not "Web users" per se.
New attack hitting Web users through major sites.  Internet users visiting some of the most popular sites on the Web may unwittingly be downloading malicious code that compromises their computers and sets up a relay network for a future onslaught of spam, a security services company warned Thursday. Here is the proof, it can be done without wasting the time of *NIX and Apple users (I'd count the latter to the *NIX community, though), at least they mention it in the first couple of body lines:
