If you can read this...

B1 d+ t k+ s u- f+ i o+ x-- e l- c

This is Blogger Code. It is a shorthand way of letting others know where I stand on some common issues such as how long have I had a web log, how adept am I technically, etc... It is similar to the original geek code

Now assuming you don't dash off and figure it out, does your experience of this site differ if the code says I check my web stats every hour, or once a week, if I say I am caught up on the latest web trend (meme) or could care less?

My guess is that knowing the above will taint one's experience of my site. Even just having a code that tells people about myself, without anyone bothering to decode it, taints how the site is experienced. Perhaps if it was only understood to be decoration, then it would have little to do with the over all experince of my site.

Further, it may have very little association with the content of my site (say if my site was about porringers) but it still effects one's experience of the site.

One last thing. This code can be read by a machine.
