Letters and Numbers II

Continuing our look at the use of letters and numbers as design elements on containers for special objects, we'll pick up our list of containers where we left off.

  • Church Floor Plans.
    While often the floor plan for a Christian church is in the shape of a cross, I do not find lettters of numbers within the floor plan. Of course the interior and exterior of a church may include text as in its decoration.

  • Grave Markers.
    Yes, lots of text used here with these. They are used both to inform, with demographic information, as well as to convey emotion.

    Old grave stones in the U.S. also use certain words and symbols to convey particular meanings.
