The Finality of Meaning Free Ceramic Sculpture featuring a ceramic toilet: Changes to the Additional Information section (not the title) of this work's Certificate of Authenticity.
Additional Information Update Number 6:

EULA and Pottery Sondahl Pottery putting up a End User Licensing Agreement for his mugs , got me thinking. There are probably some good reasons for licensing agreements. However, like the EULA included in some copies of Microsoft Frontpage 2002, which does not allow its use in order to make disparaging remarks about Microsoft, some EULA's are more creative than others. Then there are the ways those EULAs are presented. They are sometimes within an inadequate text area, with a harsh font, making the whole thing hard to read.
This is yet another example of meta-information that can be applied to a work of art, that may effects its meaning. I take it to be quite similar to the use of Certificates of Authenticity that I have explored on many occasions (beginning here.) |
