Digital Convergence and Mugs There is a usb powered mug. It only gets its power from the usb port to heat the beverage... that's a start. Sort of along similar lines as those coaster pagers. These units light up or vibrate when paged (allowing you to know when your table is ready.) They do not seem to send a signal (like when you put your empty mug down on it.)
