Critique of Craft: If craft is primarily concerned with the skill of the person making the thing, then a critique of such item would deal with that skill. This would suppose an advance understanding of that skill. I wonder how many critics have that sort of knowledge? I do not think a craft critic needs to posses that sort of skill in order to properly critique a craft, 'book knowledge' would probably suffice. 6:47:37 AM
