EduResources Weblog--Higher Education Resources Online
This weblog focuses on locating, evaluating, discussing, and providing guidelines to instructional resources for faculty and students in higher education. The emphasis is on free, shared, HE resources. Related topics and news (about commercial resources, K-12 resources, T&D resources, educational technology, digital libraries, distance learning, open source software, metadata standards, cognitive mapping, etc.) will also be discussed--along with occasional excursions into more distant miscellaneous topics in science, computing, and education. The EduResources Weblog operates in conjunction with a broader weblog called The Open Learner about using open knowledge resources across a diversity of subjects, levels, and interests for a wide range of learners and learning communities--students in schools and colleges, home schoolers, hobbyists, vocational learners, retirees, and others.

"The Humbul Humanities Hub is a service of the Resource Discovery Network funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee and the Arts and Humanities Research Board, and is hosted by the University of Oxford." Humbul is browsable by subject area and searchable; the subject area categories include Teaching/Learning Resources as a sub-category. Use the Help with Humbul link for assistance with searches; this section also contains subject-specific Tutorials about using the Internet. "The Humbul Humanities Hub aims to be UK higher and further education's first choice for accessing online humanities resources." Humbul provides instructions for adding RSS subject area channels to Web pages for advanced users who would like to track recent additions to the collection. [Humbul is listed among Scott Leslie's EdTechPOst assembly of LORs that maintain RSS feeds.]
