EduResources Weblog--Higher Education Resources Online
This weblog focuses on locating, evaluating, discussing, and providing guidelines to instructional resources for faculty and students in higher education. The emphasis is on free, shared, HE resources. Related topics and news (about commercial resources, K-12 resources, T&D resources, educational technology, digital libraries, distance learning, open source software, metadata standards, cognitive mapping, etc.) will also be discussed--along with occasional excursions into more distant miscellaneous topics in science, computing, and education. The EduResources Weblog operates in conjunction with a broader weblog called The Open Learner about using open knowledge resources across a diversity of subjects, levels, and interests for a wide range of learners and learning communities--students in schools and colleges, home schoolers, hobbyists, vocational learners, retirees, and others.

BNN/Education is a news aggregator with a number of useful and  appealing features. Take a look. ____JH

_______

Here's what the editor of BNN, Dave Mastio, says about the new launch:

"BlogNetNews.com has just launched BNN/Education , a single site to track what's going on in the Education blogosphere. The site's core is links to the latest posts from the best Education  blogs, targeted Education blog search and a handy headline service Education bloggers can use to promote each others' latest posts (found under 'services' in the left rail).

You'll also find links to the news stories Education bloggers have linked most in the last 24 hours, where the most new comments are and which blogs are producing the most new posts.

I hope you find the site useful and will tell your readers about us. I am sure we're missing important blogs on our first attempt, so please let me know the URLs I am missing. If our site works as planned, by making the Education blogosphere more convenient for readers and for bloggers, we can build readership for everyone.

Also, blogger Chaney Rankin of WorldWideLearn.com has agreed to edit the site and continue to add the best of the education blogosphere to the site to keep it a first rate resource."
