e-mail blues

Well, unfortunately, I am still incommunicado by e-mail at home.  And I am NOT a happy camper.  I thought switching from Outlook Express to Eudora had solved the problem, but apparently not.  I have not received any e-mail for 5 days -- count 'em, 5 whole days!  Cox Internet has some 'splainin' to do.  (Or, at least, somebody does!)  As I told the Cox rep, the LEAST one expects from an internet provider is e-mail, and I'm not getting mine.  If I don't get any spam by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, I'm supposed to let them know at Cox.  So, would somebody please SPAM me (did I say that?) . . . LOL!

Blog Lite

It's been another great day -- wow, two in a row . . . I'm on a roll.  Had dinner out with the in-laws, and a surprise visit from my best friend Betty, who happened to be in town, via Taiwan and Canton, Texas (go figure).  Betty is an awesome paralegal, and I've been twisting her arm to do this seminar with me, for the Institute for Paralegal Education, in July, entitled, "Mastering the Trial Notebook" (I spoke at this seminar in Lafayette last year).  Looks like she might be onboard, but she conveniently left herself a little wiggle room.   If I don't (or, rather, if IPE doesn't) get another speaker to join me, it looks like the seminar will have to be cancelled this year, and I've just about exhausted my resources, so we shall see . . .

On another note, I was happy to find that I got a mention in Denise Howell's blawg, Bag and BaggageThanks, Denise!

More from the trenches tomorrow!

Wow.  As I usually do after updating my blog, I surf the blogs in Ranking by Page Reads in Radio UserLand.  I spotted Tech Law Advisor, which I had been meaning to check out (and which turns out to be a really great blawg). The first article at the top of the page, Ebay Winter Fashion Blowout, mentioned a "valuable paralegal," with a hyperlink.  Hmmm, I thought, this might be a handy link.  Lo and behold, it's a link to Ernie's post, A new model for legal work [Ernie the Attorney].  This is so cool!
