Vista
Vista is an experimental prototype whose purpose is to quickly explore various design and feature ideas for Chandler, our networked personal information manager. It crashes a lot and has many loose ends hanging out all over the place, since it wasn't a priority to make it robust or tidy. We also didn't try to flush out the features in a particular area once we had learned what we set out to. We learned a lot from building it, but now it's time to move on to create our real application.
We're reluctant to release the code for Vista at this time because we don't want anyone to build on top of it, and since we don't have any real code out there yet, we're afraid that might happen. We're working hard on creating the real thing now, and expect to have code to release publicly around the end of the year,
